Ukraine: Presidential Office Official Remanded in Custody With UAH 7 Million Bail | CUAC
Civil Union – Follow-up
Ukraine’s High Anti-Corruption Court has ordered the detention of Viktor Dubovyk, Director General of the Legal Policy Directorate at the Office of the President of Ukraine, for 60 days, while allowing his release on bail of UAH 7 million.
The ruling comes as part of an investigation known as the “Forest Gump” case, which, according to investigators, involves allegations of illegal appropriation of property, document forgery, and interference with state records.
Investigators allege that Dubovyk was linked to a criminal organization suspected of involvement in these violations. The defendant denies the allegations, and the case remains subject to ongoing judicial proceedings.
The court’s decision marks the latest development in a series of anti-corruption cases targeting officials and individuals linked to Ukrainian state institutions.
