Civil Union – Follow-up Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested Sajid Farooq, a Line Superintendent (LS-I) at the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) in Chakwal, after he was caught red-handed accepting a bribe. The FIA’s Anti-Corruption Circle in Islamabad carried out the operation on Friday under the supervision of a judicial magistrate in Chakwal. The official was caught with 25,000 Pakistani rupees, which he had received from a complainant. The Federal Investigation Agency said the seized amount consisted of five 5,000-rupee banknotes.
