Civil Union – Follow-up The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of New South Wales continues its public inquiry under Operation Rosny into allegations involving illegal political donations and potential breaches of electoral funding laws. The investigation involves businessman and property developer Jean Nassif, who is accused of making political donations with the aim of influencing specific political outcomes, including seeking the removal of the former New South Wales Building Commissioner or limiting his exercise of official powers relating to Nassif’s property projects. Nassif was scheduled to give evidence before the inquiry this week. However, the official witness schedule published by ICAC indicates that his evidence is scheduled to be given via video link on September 4, 2026, as the investigation into the allegations continues.
