Fadi Baum: Submitting Financial Disclosure is a Legal Obligation, Not an Exception | CUAC

Fadi Baum, President of the Civil Union Against Corruption (CUAC), praised Abyan Governor Dr. Mukhtar Al-Khader Al-Rabbash Al-Haithami for submitting his financial disclosure statement, describing it as a positive step towards transparency. Baum stressed that financial disclosure is not an act of favor or an exception, but a binding legal duty for any official managing public funds. He recalled that the anti-corruption law prescribes penalties, including imprisonment up to six months and dismissal from public service, for failing to submit disclosures.
